Forum temporarily closed

As a team, we are seeking to support each of you as individuals and recognise that you all need different things at different times… but the most important thing is keeping you safe. In order to do that, we need a bit of time to work out how best to support your wellbeing in a safe and positive environment, and have decided to take a break from running the forum whilst we think it through. This means that you will no longer be able to add posts or comments, however, it doesn’t mean we don’t want to hear from you! Firstly, if you need advice or support about anything to do with self-harm or your mental health in general, you can email us at info@selfharm.co.uk. If we can’t help, we’ll always point you in the right direction of someone who can. Secondly, if you have a story you want to tell about your self-harm or mental health journey, please email us about that too! We post new blogs and articles on the selfharmUK website every week, so if you have a passion for raising awareness, enjoy writing and want to inspire others with your words, be sure to get in touch. Love, The SelfharmUK Team x

ALUMINA

Alumina is a free, online 7 week course for young people struggling with self-harm. Each course has up to 8 young people, all accessing the sessions from their own phones, tablets or laptops across the UK. The courses take place on different evenings of the week and are run by friendly, trained counsellors and volunteer youth workers. You don’t need an adult to refer you or sign you up, and no-one will see or hear you during the sessions – you’ll just join in via the chatbox. We want to help you to find your next steps towards recovery, wherever you are on your journey.
