Thanks so much for getting in touch with us, how do we stop self-harming is such a difficult question and is often asked by so many people. The best place to start is to find yourself an excellent GP and talk to them about the things you are feeling. Counselling works for some people also and can be the thing that is needed to start recovery, bereavement counselling may be good for you. This will help with the feelings you have around loss. We have some excellent books in our store, and one I would recommend is Self-Harm the Path to Recovery, it can be found here
