I was cutting myself some time now, I don't do it for almost a year. I still have scars that are slow to heal, and they are still very well visible on my skin. I try, but sometimes I think that I still need this...How do I stop thinking about it?

Have you thought of compiling some distraction techniques? Putting together a recovery tool box is a good idea of things you can do when you have these thoughts of harming. Trying to talk to someone is also helpful and is a way to begin to deal with the thoughts you have in your head. Well done for not harming for so long, thats so brave. Keep going and try to think of other things to do when these thoughts engulf you.
