I self harm but off late all I think of is burning myself to cause more pain. I know it is risky what is the best distraction that may help with this so I don't start down this path?

Hi, thanks for getting in touch with us, there are lots of distraction techniques you can use to help you with your self-harm, sometimes people find having an elastic band on their wrist and lightly pinging that can help, exercise can help some people, but be sure not to over exercise. Have you spoken to anyone about your self-harm? This can be a good place to start. Another good distraction is art or drawing. Hope these help.
